Category 5E FTP System
The AMP NETCONNECT Enhanced Category 5 Shielded System is a completely screened RJ45 cabling system, which consists out of 24 Port Patch Panels, high performance FTP or S-FTP horizontal cable, the innovative SL Modular Jacks and the corresponding Patch cords in different versions. The individual components of the system are perfectly matched to each other what makes it not necessary to check their compatibility. The performance of the components as well as of the complete system complies with the latest standard revisions of EN 50173, ISO/IEC 11801 and TIA/EIA 568. This guarantees full Enhanced Category 5 performance and therefore full compatibility to GigaBit Ethernet 1000Base-T. This system is one of the most easy and fast to install shielded solution on the market, containing as few components as possible in order to make planning as well as installation as simple as possible.

AMP NETCONNECT Multimode Patch cords and Pigtails are designed for use in local area network (LAN) applications. The range incorporates a wide choice of connector interfaces, which feature ceramic ferrules as a standard.
All cable assemblies feature extended grade 50/125µ or 62.5/125µ fiber as standard and all are supplied with Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) sheaths and buffer materials to make them safer in case of fire. The whole range of cable assemblies provide ensured performance by Optimized Physical Contacts (OPC). All terminations are 100% tested prior to shipment, guaranteeing highest quality end faces.

The AMP NETCONNECT XG Fiber System is a high performance multimode fiber optic cabling system which has been designed to meet the requirements of the 10 GigaBit Ethernet and 10 GigaBit Fiber Channel applications. The system fulfills the specification of IEEE 802.3ae for 10GBase SR (10 Gigabit Ethernet serial transmission on Multimode Fiber) and complies to the new fiber type and link class definitions of the 2nd edition of ISO 11801. All system components have been designed and optimized to provide the best multimode system performance possible in order to ensure compatibility for the upcoming GigaBit and 10GigaBit network applications.
The system consists out of:

(OM3 Plus as an option for links up to 550m)
- XG 10 Gigabit MT-RJ Jacks
