Singapore also acts as the regional headquarters for Asia Pacific, excluding Japan, and is the competence hub for research & development (R&D), supply chain, regional sales and marketing and shared services.
Infineon’s Microelectronics Design Centre is the key R&D hub for IC concept, design, test, application and system development. Over 230 engineers engage in research and development of microcontrollers, power management devices, authentication devices, LED drivers, as well as analog and mixed-signal modules. The centre applies system and engineering know how to develop energy efficient solutions for automotive and industrial applications. It also drives ramp-up support for volume production and provides dedicated customer support.
